Good day! I’m pleased to talk with you about a topic that is generally unnoticed by the people- change. As Heraclitus said a very long time ago, there is nothing permanent here in this world but change. Technology, society, people- everything. If you’re like me, you’ll see that time flies very fast. Its like you look at the past like its yesterday.Today, I will talk about how technology affects most teenagers nowadays. Let’s start with this question. What do most teens look for when they wake up? Most of them would say their cell phones. The younger people get, the more they would likely to like to have a gadget. You see them strolling around with their portable video games hanging in their necks while cellular phones in the pocket, adding up a headset in their ears listening from their iPods.
Let’s face it. We can’t live without technology. It has advanced in tremendous leaps and bounds. We cannot imagine the world without technological advances. But as we look back then, how did the people survive without it? I’m amazed at how people used to live their lives without technology. But as we know, technology is a kind of innovation. We have to accept it. We are too innovative to live without technology. We are always improving our surroundings.
Technology, though there are a lot of things that they contribute for us to have an easier life, they have disadvantages too. Before, if you have bills, you have to go all through out the town just to pay for it. You have to go to your friend’s house just to see her and have a little chat. You have to type everything with a typewriter and if you commit a mistake, you have to do it all over again. But today, you can do everything by means of computer and Internet. Interaction and convenience at its best.
Let us see the innovations of technology from the previous years. Let’s take camera as an example. Before, we have snapshot cameras. We need to wait for long to have our photos developed. Lots of process should be undergo...
